A Visit to Papworth

Visiting Papworth Hospital during May I was able to meet Dr. J.M. Shneerson MA DM FRCP Consultant Physician of the Respiratory Support and Sleep Centre and the author of the book ‘Handbook of Sleep Medicine’. It was a pleasure to be able to advise him of the progress of RLS-UK/ESA and to be able to present him with a copy of our latest newsletter.  He was optimistic about the future of our support group and kindly agreed to display one of our posters in the hospital’s waiting room. It is only with the support of Neurologists like Dr. Shneerson that we sufferers can tackle this relentless torment called RLS and strive for some normality in our lives.
